Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
- In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Lower the heat and add Parmesan and mozzarella to the skillet, stirring until melted into a creamy sauce. Gradually mix in reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Toss cooked spaghetti in the skillet with the cheese sauce; season with salt and pepper.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese.
