- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream (or half-and-half)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine spices in a small bowl and rub onto chicken breasts.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and sear the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Bake chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until it reaches 165°F internal temperature.
- Cook penne according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Slice baked chicken after resting for a few minutes.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over low heat, then stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until thickened.
- Toss cooked penne in the creamy sauce until well coated.
- Plate the pasta topped with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley.
