Ingredients
- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- garlic powder
- smoked paprika
Instructions
- Cook the tortellini according to package instructions until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sear the steak for about 3-5 minutes on each side; remove and let rest.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and milk; simmer gently for 3-4 minutes.
- Whisk in parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Return the cooked steak and tortellini to the skillet; toss everything together for about 2 minutes until well combined.
- Serve immediately garnished with chopped parsley and red pepper flakes if desired.
