Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked pasta (e.g., bucatini, spaghetti)
- 1–2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook diced chicken or turkey until crispy. Remove excess fat, leaving about 1 tablespoon.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Stir in diced tomato, heavy cream, and Italian seasoning; simmer on medium-low for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Combine drained pasta with the sauce, tossing well. If too thick, add reserved pasta water gradually.
- Serve garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
