Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz medium pasta shells
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic. Drain excess fat.
- Pour in the beef broth and Italian seasoning; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer on low heat for another 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Fold in the cooked pasta shells until well-coated with the sauce. Adjust seasoning as needed before serving hot.
