- ½ cup white grape juice
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; reserve ½ cup pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt olive oil and butter until bubbly.
- Sauté the chopped onion for 3-5 minutes until softened, then add minced garlic and cook for an additional 30 seconds.
- Season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in white grape juice and simmer for 3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Add heavy cream; bring to a boil while stirring occasionally.
- Mix in reserved pasta water; let simmer for another 5 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat; stir in parmesan until melted.
- Toss cooked spaghetti with sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra parmesan and red pepper flakes.
