- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cups beef broth
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup half and half (or whole milk)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic; sauté until the onion is soft and translucent.
- Stir in beef broth, bring to a simmer, and let it reduce slightly.
- Cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions in a separate pot; drain.
- Stir half and half (or whole milk) into the skillet, then add grated Parmesan until creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; mix well.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet and toss to coat evenly.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
