Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 teaspoons olive oil
- 5–6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cups beef broth
- 8 oz bowtie pasta
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup half and half
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Stir in the chopped onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant.
- Add seasonings including Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika; cook for an additional minute.
- Melt butter into the skillet, then pour in the beef broth and bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- While the sauce simmers, cook bowtie pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- Stir in half and half (or whole milk) and Parmesan cheese into the sauce until creamy.
- Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes before adding cooked pasta to the skillet; toss well to coat.
- Serve hot with fresh parsley on top.
