Ingredients
- 8 ounces bowtie pasta
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes, to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the bowtie pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and brown the ground beef while seasoning with salt and black pepper. Remove from pan once cooked.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1-2 minutes).
- Gradually stir in heavy cream, allowing it to simmer gently.
- Mix in grated parmesan cheese until melted, then return the cooked beef to the skillet. Adjust sauce consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss in the drained bowtie pasta until well-coated in sauce. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley.
