- 9 oz pasta bows
- 3 large chicken breasts
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 tsp minced garlic
- ½ small yellow onion
- 4 tsp cajun seasoning
- ¾ tsp salt
- ¾ tsp black pepper
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1¼ cup milk
- 1 cup freshly grated parmesan
Instructions
- Cook pasta in a large pot of salted water until al dente; drain.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add chicken, season, and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion, garlic, and bell peppers; sauté until vegetables are tender.
- Lower heat, stir in cream cheese until melted, then gradually add milk to form a smooth sauce.
- Combine cooked pasta with chicken and sauce; toss gently to mix well.
- Serve hot with extra parmesan if desired.
