- 8 ounces short pasta (penne, rotini, or elbow macaroni)
- 1 pound ground beef (or turkey/chicken)
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil the pasta in salted water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes and drain any excess fat.
- Stir in the cooked bacon (substitute with turkey bacon if desired) and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Reduce heat and mix in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Fold in the drained pasta until evenly coated with the sauce.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
