Ingredients
- 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground turkey sausage
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3 Tablespoons butter
- salt and pepper (to taste)
- 1 small onion (chopped)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and turkey sausage. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease and add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
- Stir in all but 1/2 cup of marinara sauce and set aside.
- Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain. In a mixing bowl, combine hot spaghetti with butter and reserved marinara sauce.
- In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, spread the cheese mixture evenly over it, add the remaining spaghetti, top with meat sauce, and finish with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes until hot and bubbly; let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
