  • 16 ounces spaghetti noodles
  • 1/2 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey sausage
  • 24 ounces marinara sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons butter
  • salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef and turkey sausage. Season with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease and add chopped onions and minced garlic; cook until translucent.
  3. Stir in all but 1/2 cup of marinara sauce and set aside.
  4. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente; drain. In a mixing bowl, combine hot spaghetti with butter and reserved marinara sauce.
  5. In another bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, and cottage cheese until smooth.
  6. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the spaghetti, spread the cheese mixture evenly over it, add the remaining spaghetti, top with meat sauce, and finish with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until hot and bubbly; let cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
