Ingredients
- 1 lb ziti pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 15 oz drained diced tomatoes
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese blend (grated)
- 1/2 cup fontina cheese (or Monterey Jack)
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese (grated)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Cook ziti pasta according to package instructions. Drain and toss with oil to prevent sticking.
- In a medium saucepan, combine marinara sauce, heavy cream, diced tomatoes, and sugar. Simmer and stir in half the cheese blend until bubbly.
- In an oven-safe dish, combine cooked pasta with the sauce mixture. Top with remaining cheeses and breadcrumbs.
- Broil until the top is golden brown and crispy.
