Ingredients
- 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
- 12 ounces penne pasta
- 2 cups beef broth
- ½ cup honey BBQ sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Garlic powder to taste
- Onion powder to taste
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- 1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 2. Season the flank steak with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Cook until browned (3-4 minutes), then set aside.
- 3. In the same skillet, bring beef broth to a boil and add penne pasta. Cook according to package instructions (11-12 minutes).
- 4. Reduce heat to low; stir in heavy cream and honey BBQ sauce until well combined.
- 5. Return the steak to the skillet and sprinkle in Parmesan cheese. Mix until melted and heated through.
- 6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
