Ingredients
- 12 oz pasta (any shape)
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup parsley (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
Instructions
- Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, combine olive oil and 1 tbsp of butter. Season chicken with paprika, salt, and pepper; cook until golden brown (about 4-6 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
- Reduce heat to medium; melt remaining butter in the skillet and sauté minced garlic and chili flakes until fragrant.
- Add reserved pasta water to the skillet; bring to a gentle simmer. Toss in drained pasta and cooked chicken.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley until evenly coated.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges if desired.
