Ingredients
- 400 g Spaghetti
- 4 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 6 cloves Garlic (thinly sliced)
- 1/2 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt (for pasta water)
- 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (chopped)
- Grated Parmesan Cheese (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- While the pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced garlic and sauté until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Stir in red pepper flakes for added heat.
- Add drained spaghetti to the skillet, tossing it in the garlic oil mixture. If needed, add reserved pasta cooking water to achieve desired consistency.
- Toss in chopped parsley and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top if desired. Serve immediately.
