Ingredients
- 12 large pasta shells
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 jar (about 24 oz) marinara sauce
Instructions
- Boil pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, spinach, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Using a spoon, carefully fill each pasta shell with the cheese mixture until full.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the slow cooker. Place stuffed shells in a single layer on top of the sauce and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
- Cover and cook on low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours until bubbly and heated through.
- Once done cooking, sprinkle with additional mozzarella if desired before serving.
