- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 3 bell peppers (any color), diced
- 1/2 yellow onion, diced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 24 oz jar of pasta sauce
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 cups cooked bowtie pasta
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté diced bell peppers and onion until softened and slightly browned (5-7 minutes).
- Push vegetables aside; add ground beef and cook until browned (6-8 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; mix well.
- Allow to simmer for 3-5 minutes to meld flavors.
- Fold in cooked bowtie pasta gently until well combined.
- Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes before serving.
